Chairperson and leader of the People’s National Party (PNP), Janet Asana Nabla, has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of prioritizing their party members over the welfare of ordinary Ghanaians.

Speaking on the Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, Nabla claimed that both major political parties serve their own interests first before considering the needs of the nation.

“The NDC and NPP always prioritize their members before thinking about the country. They only act in the interest of their parties, not the people” she said.

She expressed frustration over how Ghanaians continue to allow these two parties to manipulate them. According to her, the NDC and NPP conveniently wait until they are voted out of power before making efforts to create jobs, often as a strategy to frustrate the incoming government.

“They will wait until they lose an election and about to leave office, then they hire more people, knowing well that the country’s resources cannot cater for citizens all along. They do this just to put pressure on the next government” she added.

Janet Nabla’s remarks add to the ongoing national conversation about governance, political accountability, and the need for alternative leadership. As Ghana approaches another election cycle, she urged citizens to critically assess their choices and demand policies that genuinely prioritize national development over partisan interests.
