Ghana has recorded a sharp decline in inflation, with the February 2026 rate falling to 3.3 percent, Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson has disclosed.
According to a data shared, this marks the 14th consecutive month of decline and represents a dramatic turnaround from the 52.8 percent inflation recorded in February 2023.
The Minister made the announcement in a post on his official social media handles, where he shared figures highlighting the steady progress achieved over the past three years.
Inflation had dropped to 23.2 percent in February 2024 and 23.1 percent in February 2025, paving the way for the current historic low.
