The Ghana Education Service (GES) has refuted a purported recruitment notice circulating on social media, which announced vacancies for graduate teachers and non-teaching staff in Senior High Schools.
In a press release, the Service described the document as “fake,” stressing that it has not issued any directive regarding recruitment.
The forged notice, which carried the GES letterhead and a reference number, claimed that financial clearance had been granted for the engagement of graduate teachers and other staff.
However, the GES emphasized that the subject “recruitment of staff into the Ghana Education Service” is a falsehood.
