Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui, has taken a trip down memory lane, sharing throwback photos from the early days of her acting career.
In a recent social media post, the actress reflected on her journey, particularly her breakthrough role as Serwaa in the popular TV series YOLO (TV series).
According to Fella Makafui, she nearly turned down the role that would eventually become a defining part of her identity.
“11 years ago, I almost rejected a role that would later become part of my identity, Serwaa,” she wrote.
She noted that at the time, she did not fully realize the impact the opportunity would have on her life and career, emphasizing how certain moments that seem uncertain can later shape one’s path.
Reflecting on her growth over the years, she highlighted her resilience and determination, stating that despite challenges and moments of doubt, she remained committed to her dreams.
“Looking back, I see growth. I see resilience. I see a woman who refused to give up even when things were uncertain,” she added.
The actress also acknowledged the sacrifices and hard work that contributed to her success, noting that every experience along the way played a role in her journey.
