The Public Services Commission (PSC) is warning the general public to be cautious about fake advertisements seeking to entice job seekers to apply for jobs with the Public Services institutions across the country.
A statement signed and issued by the Commission’s Chairman, Dr. Janet Ampadu Fofie on September 7, 2021, said such an “announcement widely circulated on the internet requesting job seekers to report to the PSC to fill Public Services Job Application forms for recruitment is fake and should be disregarded.”
“It must be emphasised that the commission does not charge any application or processing fee for any of its recruitment processes or authorise a person or any organization to recruit on its behalf” the statement further clarified.
Dr. Ampadu noted that one sure way a job seeker can apply for a job with the Public Services institutions is by visiting the Commission’s website or by checking the National Dailies for information on its vacancies.
The statement urges the public to report any person or organisation involved in the fraudulent activity to the security agencies for appropriate action.
