Former Asante Kotoko star Eric Bekoe has landed his first coaching job as he has been appointed head coach of Division Two club Nsawkawman FC.
The 34-year-old, who hasn’t officially retired despite not being active for four years, has accepted the job in a bid to kickstart his coaching career.
Bekoe is expected to use his vast experience to groom players at the club.
He became a household name during his spell with Kotoko, netting 42 goals in 48 matches for the club.
Bekoe was part of the squad that won the Ghana Premier League title in the 2007/08 season. He ended that season as the Ghana Premier League top scorer, with 17 goals.
The enterprising forward also had stints with Sekondi Hasaacas, Liberty Professionals, Hearts of Lions, Berekum Chelsea and Petrojet in Egypt.
