The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has refuted claims that it has began medical screening and body selection for persons who applied to be recruited into the service.
According to the service, there are some fake speculations circulating on social media that the GIS has begun the next stage of the recruitment process into the service.
However, the service has cautioned the public to ignore such fake news.
The Immigration Service, in a statement issued on Monday, October 17, 2021 stated that “the Ghana Immigration Service wishes to inform all applicants in the recently published recruitment exercise and the general public to ignore news circulating on social media that body selection and/or medical screening begins on Monday, 18th October, 2021″.
The statement added that applicants would receive instructions on what to do via text messages or emails thus, should not fall prey to misleading information.
” Applicants qualified for the next stage will receive specific information via text messages and/or emails on what to do”, said Supt. Michael Amoako-Atta in the GIS statement.
