The leading media house in the Central Region, Darling FM, has started 2022 on a very high note, picking up three top awards at the Central Media Awards, held over the weekend.
Darling FM, a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network took home the Best Radio Station of the Year for their hardwork and contribution to the development of the Central Region.
The sensational weekly program: “What Women Want Show,” hosted by Nana Ama Egyirba, was also adjudged the Radio Program of the Year.
The fourth edition of the awards scheme came off in Cape Coast on February 5, and awarded radio/tv shows and media personalities from the region
The three awards are an addition to the four awards the station won at the recently held Osabarimba Royal Awards.
Meanwhile, the host of Darling Drive, ‘Candyman’ Lucas Mensah, who won the Most Influential Male Presenter of the Year.
The Central Media Awards is an annual award scheme organized by Ezone Network Gh, with the aim of revealing, promoting and acknowledging the hard work of media organizations and individuals for their contributions to the development of the Central Region.
Over 40 categories were awarded at this year’s event.
