After undergoing a cosmetic surgery, Ghanaian actress Kisa Gbekle, has said that 2022 is “Ashawo” season for her.
The actress made the eyebrows-raising comment on the Delay show on Sunday March 13, 2022.
According to her, she went for the liposuction due to the low self-esteem she encountered anytime she looked in the mirror.
Kisa had developed big tummy due to excess fat which according to her diminished her beauty since she no longer exercised, hence her resort to liposuction.
When the host, Deloris Frimpong Manso otherwise known as Delay asked her if she did not fear losing her life in the process, she replied, “at a point I asked the doctor if I was going to come back”.
She also added that, she heard a woman had died a week before her arrival and one in comma upon her arrival. She disclosed that she was very thankful to God when she woke up after the surgery because her mother could not afford to lose her.
The now curvy gave an account of the pain she had to go through after the surgery: “I couldn’t even get up straight; the pain was so intense…After the surgery, you will have to bend like an old woman…Some cannot even stand straight after six weeks”.
She was the first person to heal fast after surgery from the hospital, according to her.
The actress revealed that the last thought on her mind before the surgery was if she was going to come back or not.
“Before I left home I was giving some details with my mom and she didn’t even understand. However, the decision going to benefit herself and her family” said Kisa Gbekle.
She explained further that, having a liposuction was going to help her look good, and attract many brands to work with instead of looking big and covering up.
She said after the liposuction, many men are into her dm and she has started cashing out money for the season because of her beautiful body, hence 2022 is Ashawo season for her.
