They were busted by some community members at her premises upon a tip-off before handing them over to the Nkurakan Police.

That was after she was caught in the thievery business with the suspected thieves.

The accused and her accomplice were afterwards forced to carry the dead goats while the community booed them as they paraded them through the principal streets of the community.

The suspects were later marched to the Nkurakan Police station, where they were handed over to the police to continue their investigation.

They were immediately transferred to the Koforidua Central Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.

Meanwhile, the Okyeame of Nkurakan, Emmanuel Narh, bemoaned the high rate of theft and other crimes at Nkurakan, noting that the situation is getting out of hand.

He accused Mary Yeboah of allegedly engaging in the act of buying stolen goats to prepare local dishes for sale.

He seized the opportunity and appealed to the Police Commander in the region to deploy more men to the town to check cases of thievery and robbery.
