Do not vote against Dr. Bawumia – Apostle Samson Barko urges Ghanaians

Must Read

Founder and General Overseer of Glory and Hope Ministry International, Apostle Samson Agyei Barko has passionately called on Ghanaians to elect the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bawumia, as the next Ghana president in the coming general elections.
He, however, warned that Ghanaians should not make the mistake of overlooking the NPP presidential candidate and committing their future to the hands of leaders whose visions do not supersede the latter.
Speaking in a video posted by GHone TV, he expressed that he was surprised when he overheard a Member of Parliament making asserting that Dr. Bawumia’s digitalization policies cannot put food before Ghanaians.
According to Apostle Samson, Ghanaians must be very careful not to make any mistakes to vote against the vice president of Ghana.
“We must be very careful, there are some people if we don’t take care and we put our destiny into their hands, we will not move forward,” he stated.
He made reference to his experience on how digitalisation is working in other countries when travelling to the United States (US), where he thought he was going to pay for his luggage with physical cash. It was there he got to know that physical cash was no longer allowed.
According to him, he had no option but transferred money to his mobile phone and forwarded it to his bank before he was able to pay for his luggage.
He explained that, in the upcoming 2024 general election, Ghanaians must not vote based on tribalism but rather vote for someone who has good policies that all Ghanaians can benefit from.
He added that, when comparing the cost of infrastructure projects under the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he noted that the NDC’s Circle Interchange was far more expensive than the NPP’s four Interchanges; Tema, Obetsebi, Pokuase, and Tamale, which together cost $289 million compared to the $260 million spent on the Circle Interchange.
During his submission, he stated, “Ghanaian pastors, politics is not salvation, but if it were to be a salvation we will stand on our fit and preach it, but when it comes to the policies of the country, let’s look for someone who’s truthful and has integrity that can help move the country forward.”
