Ghanaian music star, Black Sherif, popularly known as Blacko, has spoken openly about fear, risk-taking and confidence as he prepares for his upcoming Zamadisco concert at the University of Ghana, Legon.
In an interview with Zionfelix, the award-winning artiste reflected on how society often fails to prepare young people for setbacks, a situation he believes holds many back from pursuing opportunities they deserve.
“They didn’t teach us how to fail, so sometimes even when we see a risk to take or know we deserve something, our fear of failing to get that thing makes us stay back,” Black Sherif said.
The artiste linked this mindset to his journey as an artiste and his bold decision to stage the Zamadisco concert at the University of Ghana Stadium on December 21, 2025.

Despite the scale of the event, Black Sherif expressed confidence and calmness, insisting that he and his team are fully ready.
“We are filling the stadium. It’s going to be what it’s going to be. No pressure. We are prepared and active,” he added.
