Deputy Communications Director for New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, has defended the use of swear words by one of the party’s flagbearer-hopefuls, Kennedy Agyapong, saying “if he can create jobs, he’s the best option”.
Speaking on Angel Morning Show, Owus-Bempah who is also Senior Communications Aide to Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team argued that, even US presidents uses strong language, but its results that matter.
Owusu-Bempah emphasized, Kennedy Agyapong’s track record in creating jobs and empowering entrepreneurs, citing his construction of a cardio thoracic center using $6 million of his own money. He questioned whether other politicians could match this feat, implying Agyapong’s actions speak louder than words.
His comments come amid criticism of Agyapong’s verbal attacks on netizens and fellow politicians. However, Owusu-Bempah believes Ghanaians prioritize tangible results over polished rhetoric.
