Ghanaian socialite and businesswoman, Aba Dope, has opened up about her decision to prioritize having a child over getting married.
During a recent interview, Aba Dope revealed that marriage is not part of her personal plans, saying her focus was solely on becoming a mother.
“I don’t want to get connected to anyone as in get married to anyone. I just wanted a child because I know my capabilities as in the way I’m hardworking,” she explained.
She added that careful planning played a role in her decision, noting that she did not want to grow up without experiencing motherhood.
“If I don’t take care, I will grow up and not have a child, that’s why I calculated my days, weeks, months, and plans, and had that child last year,” Aba said.
Aba Dope clarified that her choice does not speak against marriage or those planning to marry.
“I’m not against those who are married or those who want to get married, but for me, I’m not interested in getting married,” she stated.
She further emphasized her contentment with her current life, noting that she is blessed with a child, a supportive family, and a thriving business.
“God has blessed me with a child, I work, my family, we are okay, my siblings support me with my business,” Aba shared.
