The Ekwona family has removed Agya Kofi Owusu, popularly known as Abusuapanin Tupac, from his position as family head.
Ekwona Abusuapanin, Akwesi Acheampong, explained in a video circulating online that the decision came after Agya Owusu’s actions allegedly brought “disgrace” to the family.
“The moves Abusuapanin Tupac is taking are causing disgrace to the family, so the family has decided not to take any step further with him. To cut everything short, Opayin Kofi Owusu is no more the family head,” Acheampong said.
He added:
“Everyone has agreed that from today, Agya Owusu is not the head of the family anymore.”
The family leader also criticized Agya Owusu for showing a lack of respect:
“You didn’t give respect to the Agronya family. The family appointed you as the Abusuapanin, and the same family has removed you.”
