The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect captured in a viral video issuing threats and allegations of criminal conduct against a High Court judge, Justice Patricia Quansah.

The suspect, identified as John Kwabena Owusu Ansah, 49-year-old, was arrested on Thursday, March 27, 2026, at his hideout at Antoakrom in the Ashanti Region through the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team, through an intelligence-led operation.

In a statement, the Police said the video raised serious concerns about the safety of the judge and the integrity of the Judiciary.

Police indicated that the suspect is currently in custody assisting investigations and will be arraigned before court soon.
