The Board of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), has announced the conclusion of the nominations process for the 27th edition of the scheme.
As part of the process, a one-week ‘errors and omissions’ window was opened to address verifiable administrative issues such as incorrect attributions, misclassification of entries, omitted eligible works, and metadata or spelling errors in the nominees list.
Following the nominations announcement, the Board received petitions and appeals from artistes, management teams, and industry stakeholders, mainly concerning category placement, eligibility, and inclusion. It noted that all concerns were carefully reviewed in line with the scheme’s guidelines, but the final nominee list remains unchanged.
The Board expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their feedback and reaffirmed its commitment to fairness and integrity.
It also encouraged the public to support their favourite artistes as voting begins, with the awards season continuing at the TGMA Xperience Concert on April 11 at the Koforidua Youth Resource Centre.
The statement was released by Charterhouse on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
