The Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Finnish education organisation, Educraftor, to strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Ghana.
According to the ministry, the partnership will also promote innovative teaching and learning in the country.
In a statement, the ministry said the collaboration seeks to advance Ghana’s education system by adopting international best practices, supporting teacher professional development, and integrating innovative, technology-driven approaches into classroom instruction.
Under the agreement, the Ministry and Educraftor will work together to equip teachers with modern teaching strategies, introduce interactive digital learning tools, and develop curricula that meet international standards while remaining relevant to Ghana’s educational needs.
“The collaboration will also promote student-centred and project-based learning approaches to enhance practical learning experiences and equip students with critical thinking, problem-solving and technical skills,” It added.
The Ministry announced the partnership in a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Friday, November 6, 2026.
