The 2020 Running Mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has said that her party will introduce a mandatory seven days paternity leave when voted into power.
According to her, this forms part of the NDC efforts at assisting family life in the country.
“We will introduce a seven-day paternity leave…,” she announced.
The former Education Minister speaking at the launch of the Manifesto in Accra on Monday said that an NDC government will also extend the maternity leave to four months.
