The Chairman of the Angel Group of Companies, Dr Kwaku Oteng has been honoured with a pan-African hero award for his outstanding contribution to the growth of the Ghanaian economy in diverse sectors.
At the award ceremony organised by the ‘Pan-African Heroes Foundation (PAHF) and the Rectitude International Mission (RIM) and the Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce and Administration (BORGCA), Dr Oteng was singled out for praise for employing thousands in his numerous companies.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), one of the success stories of Dr Oteng, Samuel Kofi Acheampong was also honoured with a pan-African hero award for his immense contribution to the growth of the Ghanaian media.
Bronzy Teflon, as he is known and called has been the brain behind the growth of ABN which owns and operates about 18 radio stations and one digital channel, Angel TV.
Other presenters in the group were also honoured at the event which sought to celebrate the achievements of persons who are doing great in their various fields on the African continent.
