Brother of late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills, Samuel Atta-Mills has asked Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh Dompreh to channel his energy into probing the death of J.B Danquah instead of his late brother.

According to Samuel Atta-Mills, he knows what killed his brother, the late Prof. Mills.

“I was with my brother throughout his presidency, he died in my hands and I know what killed him. I have the autopsy report so Annoh Dompreh should rather probe into JB Danquah,” Samuel Atta-Mills noted.

His remarks to Annoh Dompreh come after Annoh Dompreh and three other MPs filed a private members’ motion to form a bi-partisan group to probe the death of the late President John Evans Atta-Mills.

John Evans Atta Mills died on July 24, 2012, at age 68 after suffering from an unspecified illness while serving as president of the country.

However, a decade after his demise, the cause remains a ‘mystery’ to some family members and Ghanaians at large.

But, according to the Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem constituency in the Central Region, he is aware of the cause of his brother’s death because his brother died in “his hands.”

Therefore, the former C.E.O of Ghana Tourist Development Company is urging the Nsawam MP to rather focus on probing the death of late Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, JB Danquah who was assassinated in 2016.

Samuel Atta-Mills served as the Presidential Aide to late Prof. Mills from 2009 to 2012 at the Office of the President.
