Former President John Dramani Mahama has charged the Black Stars to be determined against the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they play against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the second leg encounter in the 2022 World Cup playoff.
According to him, that is the only way Ghana can qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Qatar from November to December.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday morning, Mr. Mahama urged the team to leave no stone unturned despite the “strong friendship” and “rich history” between the two countries.
“Ghana vrs Nigeria…. the friendship is strong and the history is rich. I urged the Black Stars to be resolute today to qualify Ghana for the FIFA 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar…Go Black Stars Go!”
