Goalkeeper of Accra-based Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities FC, Eric Ofori Antwi has officially confirmed his exit from the team.
The 27-year-old joined the ‘Royals’ from Medeama SC on a short-term contract prior to the start of the 2021/22 season.
But following the expiration of his contract at the end of the season, the talented goalkeeper called it a quit with the capital club.
In a farewell message, the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper took to his official Twitter page to express gratitude to the club for the opportunity offered him.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank the President of Legon Cities, the CEO, technical team, the fans and the playing body for the love they showed me during my short time with the club.
“I really appreciate everything, wish the team well in the upcoming season,” Eric Ofori Antwi wrote in his farewell bid.

Although, there have been speculations that he is likely to join newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Nsoatreman FC, the player has refuted the claims.
Meanwhile, information on the desk of Angelonline.com.gh indicates that baring any last minute changes, Ofori Antwi will sign for a reputable club in Tanzania.
