Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton, has named a 24-man squad for the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Madagascar in June.
The match which kicks off at 5pm local time at Stade Kianja Barea on Sunday, June 18, 2023, serves as a Group E encounter for a place in the next AFCON scheduled to take place in Ivory Coast.
The squad comprises of three goalkeepers, eight defenders, five midfielders, four wingers and four wingers in that order. For a second time running the squad had no home-based player in Chris Hughton’s call-up.
