A Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Gabriella Tetteh, has said that the 24-hour economy initiative pledged by John Mahama seeks to broaden all economic sectors of the country.
Speaking on the Angel Morning Show she said, “We are elevating that ecosystem into broader economic sphere, touching on manufacturing, technology and even in culture.”
The opposition party’s Communications head in the Central Region stated that, the policy is to create specific 24-hour economic hubs, in specific districts within regions nationwide.
“The impact of this policy is to identify specific 24-hour economic hubs, in specific districts within regions,” she uttered.
Ms. Gabriella stated that such places would be given the maximum security and safety attention to enable an incentive to induce specific industries.
“Those places we will provide security and safety would be the incentives that attracts specific industries.
“It will help our productivity, it would create more jobs and grow the economy…this activity will give the restaurant that operate at night more market,” she stated.
