Dreams FC announce transfer of wonderkid to FC Barcelona

Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC has announced the transfer of Abdul Aziz Issah to Spanish giants FC Barcelona in the just-ended transfer window.

The transfer of the 18-year-old wonderkid was finalized on the transfer deadline day.

Dreams FC has expressed its excitement adding that Aziz Issah’s “move to one of the biggest clubs in the world represents a massive milestone in the history of Dreams FC, one of which everyone connected to the club is proud of.

The entire Dreams FC family wishes the youngster the very best as he embarks on this new exciting journey,” Dreams FC stated.

Issah, adjudged by CAF as one of the best youngsters on the continent emerged top scorer in last season’s Confederation Cup.

He scored four goals and provided two assists in 10 games to help Dreams reach a historic semi-final berth in the African club competition, only missing out to eventual winners and Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek.

The sensational winger also made 17 goal contributions (7 goals and 10 assists) in the Ghana Premier League last season. He also scored four goals in five games in the FA Cup competition.

On the national front, Issah was a key player for the Ghana U20 team that won gold in the 13th Africa Games hosted in Accra earlier this year.

Issah joined the first team at Dreams FC in 2022 having come through the club’s youth ranks- Still Believe and In God We Trust FC respectively.
