Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, former Afigya-Kwabre South Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stressed the need for unity among party members and supporters to strengthen campaigns at the grass-roots to help the party retain power.

He said unity, hard work and teamwork among party members and supporters were crucial in the quest to win and retain power in the 2024 general election.

Speaking at the Offinso South Constituency campaign launch of the party, Odeneho Appiah said the NPP would remain in power if all party members remained in a united front to execute the task ahead.

“We can be sure of remaining in power if we all remain united and by doing so the NDC would continue to stay in opposition,” Odeneho Appiah said.

He stressed the need for party members to engage in door-to-door campaigns in order not to miss anything.

“Campaigns do not end on the platform; from here I encourage all of us to visit the constituents in their homes, make them understand why it is important to vote and retain the NPP in power and by doing so, be sure that this election is won,” he told the enthusiastic crowd.

“Yes, it may not be enough, and this is why I am appealing to you to vote for me and Dr Bawumia to enable our government to do more for our beloved constituency.”

Other leading party members who addressed the gathering included Mr Collins Adomako Mensah, Deputy Minister of Energy and MP for Afigya-Kwabre North, Mr Kingsley Owusu Appiah, Municipal Chief Executive, and Mr Francis Adomako, Ashanti Regional Organiser of the NPP.
