A member of the National Communications Team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ellen Ama Daaku, has expressed her disappointment about the behavior of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that insult has become their trademark.

Speaking on the Angel Morning Show on Monday, November 18, 2024, Ama Daaku said the incessant insult on the person of former President Kuffour by NDC’s Dela Edem should be enough motivation for Ghanaians to vote for Dr Bawumia.

She said she remains shocked that the former President could be insulted for endorsing a competent persons like Dr Bawumia.

“It’s exactly one month that John Mahama also used the word stupid in his campaign, while he has also said that those on social media are writing about unnecessary stories,” she said.

She noted that the people in the NDC party have decided to be insulting any elderly person in Ghana, and to her this is a plan they are implementing.

“Ghanaians must take note of this kind of character the NDC and its supporters are displaying in the elections, the flagbearer of the party should have come out to apologise on behalf of the NDC, but not Sammy Gyamfi, even Sammy Gyamfi himself insulted former President Agyekum Kuffour some years ago,” he said.

Ama Daaku then argued that the NDC statement released by Sammy Gyamfi to condemn the bad comment made by Dela Edem is an insult as Sammy Gyamfi is not the right person to issue that statement to condemn this behaviour.
