A leading member of the Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu, has described the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a party without credibility.

“Ghanaians will soon understand the Movement for Change and our roadmap for the future because we remain the only credible party in Ghana. The NPP has no credibility, and as for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), within six months, Ghanaians will realize whether President Mahama leaves office voluntarily or is forced out by the people,” he said during the Angel Morning Show on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

According to him, the opposition NPP is likely to collapse soon due to its inability to address issues stemming from its 2024 election defeat.

Criticizing the NPP’s recent actions, Mr. Owusu questioned the party’s responses to the massive defeat it suffered in the 2024 elections indicating that the party is yet to recover from its defeat.

He pointed to the decision to withdraw from all Media General platforms as evidence of his claims.

“Look, they have now boycotted TV3 and all its affiliated media outlets. They were given a platform for free communication, yet they announced a boycott. Who cares?” he asked rhetorically.
