Veteran football administrator, Kofi Manu, has criticised the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) under President Kurt Okraku.
According to him, Mr. Okraku’s actions amount to a blatant overreach of authority.
Speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based Sikka FM, the outspoken administrator said:
“Kurt is behaving like the Ghana Football Association is his father’s property. Kurt is out of the coverage area to contest again—even if they change it to three terms,” he said.
He also condemned the competence of the GFA’s Executive Council, describing its members as the worst in the association’s history.
“This our football executive council is the worst I have ever seen in the history of Ghana. The only thing they do is ‘yes sir, yes sir’,” he added.
Mr. Manu further expressed disappointment in the council’s push to extend term limits.
“The exco members of football are very disappointing, because the only experiment they have done is two terms—so why change it to three terms?”
