A tragic road accident has claimed the life of a seven-year-old girl and left her two siblings seriously injured at Adankwame in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region.
The incident occurred when a speeding tricycle reportedly knocked down three children who were standing by the roadside in front of the Adankwame Police Station.
The victims have been identified as Rasmiya Abdul Rahaman, aged 7, who died in the incident; Rasmid Abdul Rahaman, aged 7; and Musharraf Abdul Rahaman, aged 11.
According to Bismarck Mensah of Angel News, who reported on Orgasm News, the accident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, February 4, 2026, while the minors were on their way to school.
He explained that on the fateful day, the three siblings were being escorted to school by their mother, a trader who was en route to the market.
Mr. Mensah’s report added that the speeding tricycle ran into the children, killing one instantly and leaving the other two seriously injured.
The surviving siblings are currently receiving medical attention at a health facility in Asuofua.
