Reggae and Kuchoko musician, Blakk Rasta, has publicly praised President John Dramani Mahama, describing him as “an angel without wings” while reflecting on his leadership during his second term in office.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Kafui Dey, Blakk Rasta admitted that he had been critical of Mahama during his first tenure.
“To be very honest with you, I criticized him in his first tenure, and they have come to realize that I criticize them not to destroy them,” he said.
He went on to express admiration for the President’s demeanor and leadership style.
“Honestly, when I was growing up, I was told that angels had wings. This is the first time I’m seeing an angel without wings, and that’s President Mahama,” he stated.
Blakk Rasta further described Mahama as a calm and thoughtful leader who listens to criticism and carefully considers his response.
“I said a lot of things about Mahama, and he is a gentleman, so he will listen, does it carry weight, does he want to react or does he want it to go,” he added.
