Ghanaian singer Sista Afia has publicly appealed to the Ghana Football Association and Black Stars stakeholders to consider her for a role in supporting the team ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
In a social media post, the artiste expressed her long-standing commitment to promoting Ghanaian football, both locally and internationally.
“I would like to respectfully appeal to the Ghana Football Association and all stakeholders supporting the Black Stars,” she wrote.
Sista Afia highlighted her consistent support for the national team over the years, noting that she has used her platform to uplift Ghanaian football.
“As a proud Ghanaian female artist, I believe representation matters, and I am committed to contributing positively to the spirit and visibility of our national team,” she added.
With the World Cup approaching, she stated her desire to be part of the team’s journey.
“I would be honored to be considered for an opportunity to be part of this historic journey. I am confident that my presence would add value, inspire many, and further showcase the unity between sports and entertainment in Ghana,” she said.
