While responding to a question about the hometown of the President, the chief said that President Akufo-Addo actually hails from Akuapem Akropong since that is where his father Edward Akufo-Addo comes from.
“It is the president’s mother who comes from Kyebi”, he said.
He added that but for school reasons, the President’s father would have been a chief.
The team later went round to witness the various traditions associated with the Odwira Festival including firing of guns into the air, feeding of the ancestors and pouring of libation among others.
