Accra Hearts of Oak will start their title defence of the MTN FA Cup against Ghana Premier league counterpart Accra Lions in the Round of 64.
The Phobians, being the most decorated side in the competition, will be hopeful for a perfect start to their defence.
Similarly, last year’s quarter finalist, Asante Kotoko, will come up against Kumasi-based side King Faisal in another regional derby for the bragging right.
Meanwhile, King Faisal ended their rival’s unbeaten run in a thrilling 3-2 scoreline in the first leg of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Elsewhere, Karela United and Medeama SC are scheduled to lock horns in the same stage of the competition in the all-western derby.
