The Women’s Organiser for the Ghana Union movement (GUM) in the Eastern region, Ruth Kosi, has vowed to support a nine-year-old Priscilla Doe Tetteh, who depends on the manufacturing of ‘Susu’ boxes to support her educational needs.
According to Madam Kosi, she was touched by the story of the primary four (4) pupil of Agormanya Methodist Primary School, after seeing the publication on Angelonline.com.gh which made her connect with the family.
After speaking with the family of Priscilla Doe Tetteh, Madam Ruth Kosi has agreed to adopt her and also finance all her educational needs until she is able to reach her dream job as a doctor.
Madam Kosi urged philanthropists, non-governmental agencies and other authorities in communities to offer support to such ‘needy but brilliant’ students in societies.
Grace Tetteh who is the mother of Priscilla Doe Tetteh, couldn’t hide her excitement at the news.
