Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has named a 27-man squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play offs against Nigeria.
The Back Stars will take on the Super Eagles in two matches scheduled for Kumasi and Abuja respectively.
The invited players includes three debutants namely Denis Odoi, Elisha Owusu and left back of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dennis Korsah who has been impressive in the Ghana Premier League.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus and first choice goalkeeper Richard Ofori are back in the squad after missing the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon due to injuries.
On the other hand, Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew has been included despite multiple reports claiming he has tested positive for coronavirus and is a major doubt for the game.
Ghana will host the 1st leg at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday, March 25 before travelling to Abuja for the 2nd leg on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
