Ghana to play Chile, Japan and Tunisia in four nations tournament ahead of World Cup

The Black Stars of Ghana will compete in a four-nation tournament as part of preparations for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged later this year from November to December.

The tournament dubbed “Kirin Super Cup” is scheduled for June 10 to June 14, 2022 and will be hosted in Japan. It will be played at the Noevir Stadium – Hyogo-Ku, Kobe and the Panasonic Stadium.

The participating teams are Japan (host nation), Ghana, Tunisia and Chile.

Ghana takes on the host nation on Friday, June 10 at the Noevir Stadium in Misaki Park – Hyogo-Ku, Kobe with African brothers, Tunisia taking on Chile on same day.

The Black Stars will thus play either Tunisia or Chile on June 14, regardless of the results of their game against the host.

Ghana, who participates in her fourth FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar has been drawn alongside Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in Group H.
