The Ghana Football Association [GFA] has announced the venue for the International friendly match between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Samba boys of Brazil.
In a notice on Monday, September 5, 2022, the association said the two teams would square off at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre, France on Friday, September 23, 2022, as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The Black Stars would later take on Nicaragua in Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, before taking on Switzerland at the Baniyas Club Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
The match against the Swiss will complete the calendar for the Black Stars going into the tournament proper.
According to the GFA, the games will assist head coach Otto Addo and his technical team as preparatory grounds for the Stars at the Mundial, starting from November 20 to December 18 later this year.
Ghana, drawn in Group H of the 2022 World Cup alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay, will open their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
They will return to action four days later with a clash with South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan before wrapping up their group stage match against Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
Meanwhile, five-time World champions, Brazil, will take on Switzerland, Cameroon and Serbia, having been drawn into Group G.
