Drivers, mates and passengers on board various commercial buses, popularly known as ‘trotro’ in the country will have a say in what is discussed on Angel Morning Show (AMS) from the beginning of 2024, host of the flagship programme, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has announced.
The new introduction will ensure that the ordinary Ghanaian will have a greater say in the affairs of the country and contribute meaningfully to policy formulation in governance.
It will also offer the less privileged an opportunity to bring their problems to the fore for leaders in their districts, municipalities, metropolis, constituencies and regions to act upon them.
Announcing the introduction of the new segment on the first edition of the show in 2024, the firebrand presenter expressed the hope the novelty will serve as a catatyst for change in the development of Ghana.
“There will be a person who will be board the trotro from one location to the other, listen to the dominant conversations in these buses and report on them. This person will also engage the passengers, the driver and mate on their views on issues of national discourse…,” he said.
The show hosted by Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah has since its commencement serve as the voice for the voiceless and provided solutions to numerous challenges in the country.
