A private Legal Practitioner, Kweku Paintsil has stated that describe as the ‘wisest’ the decision of the Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to attend Parliamentary sitting when the Parliament re-convened.
In an interview on ‘Yen Man Ghana’, a political show on Angel TV, he commended NPP MPs for not entering into parliament on Friday, November 8, 2024.
“The reaction of the NPP is the wisest thing they could have done”, he remarked.
He added that, Ghanaians must appreciate NPP MPs for not attending sitting.
“Ghanaians need to be thankful to the NPP parliamentarians for not entering into parliament…I disagree with individuals expressing disappointed in NPP MPs because they are not supposed to be there in the first place”, he said.
Lawyer Kweku Paintsil argued that, there would have been chaos if an MP had quarreled with his or her colleague Parliamentarian over a seat in the house.
“There is no sense in fighting your fellow parliamentarian over a seat. There will surely be chaos”, he said.
