The contractor for the Ofankor-Nsawam road project has resumed work on the stretch from Ofankor to Nsawam following public concerns about the project’s progress and its impact on commuters and traders in the area.
The road project aims to improve the condition of the Ofankor-Nsawam road, reducing travel time and enhancing connectivity for residents and businesses.

Although challenges persist, the resumption of work is expected to bring relief to affected communities, travellers, and drivers who regularly use the stretch.
The Roads Minister, Kwame Governs Agbodza, confirmed the contractor’s return to the site and provided an update on the project’s status. Efforts are being made to address issues and ensure the project’s timely completion.

During a visit to the site by Angel News’ Van Brown, some drivers, residents, and traders expressed their joy over the development and welcomed the news positively.

They expressed hope that the road’s improvement will boost economic activity and reduce transportation costs and travel time on this busy section.
They suggest the project’s progress will continue to be closely monitored by stakeholders and the local community.
