Five nurses at the St Peter’s Hospital in Jacobu in the Amansie Central District in the Ashanti Region have tested positive of COVID-19.
According to information available to this website, the five nurses tested positive after being exposed to a COVID-19 patient.
There are fears that the some Medical Doctors have also been exposed to the disease.
The Ashanti Region is the second region which has been infected with the disease.
The region has 2,275 confirmed cases with about 14 deaths.
