The Electoral Commission has instituted a queue management system at the various registration centers to address the issue of overcrowding at some centers in the Greater Accra region.
A statement signed by Ag. Director of Public Affairs, Sylvia Annoh said the first 150 applicants to arrive at the registration center will be served with number cards. The applicants would be given the number cards in batches to ensure orderliness.
The mechanism, she said, was put in place to prevent further spread of covid-19 following public enthusiasm about the registration exercise in the national capital.
Mrs. Annoh encouraged the general public to give feedback to the Commission aim at improving the registration exercise.
