The Speaker of Parliament, Prof Aaron Mike Oquaye has led the leadership of Parliament to sign the book of condolence which was opened in remembrance of late Ghanaian President, Jerry John Rawlings.
The speaker who was in the company of the members of the Parliamentary Service Board (PSB) arrived at the conference centre around 9:00am on Monday to pen down his thoughts about the departed ex-leader.
He was accompanied to the venue by a member of the Parliamentary Service Board, Hon. Hackman Owusu Agyeman and the Clerk to Parliament, Cyril Kwabena Oteng Nsiah.
He was the first high profile person to sign the book which was last when the former President died.
