GPL week 15: Hearts bounces back as Ahmed Toure scores in debut for Medeama

Accra Hearts of Oak and Ebusua Dwarfs ended  in 5 goal thriller after the Phobians beat Dwarfs 3-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium. Victor Aidoo scored twice from a spot kick in the first 20 minutes after Patrick Razak won 2 penalties for his side.

Morro Sumaila and Denis korsah Akoumah scored on the 45th and 77th minutes respectively to be 2-2 at par with Hearts. But Issac Mensah restored the lead for Hearts in the dying embers of the game to record their first win in 6 games.

In an earlier fixture on Friday, AshantiGold beat Aduana Stars 4-0 at the Len Clay Sports Stadium to end their 6 match winless streak.
The Miners took the lead after Frank Akoto converted a penalty on the 24th minutes into the game. The home side doubled their lead through Yaw Annor to keep the momentum going.

Medeama recorded a 2-1 victory over Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Sports Stadium as Burkinabé international, Ahmed Toure scored twice on the 3rd and 85th minutes to secure all 3 points for the “Mauve and Yellow”.
