Preacher who ‘prophesied’ Shatta Wale’s gun attack nabbed by police

Bishop Stephen Akwasi, the man of God who prophesied that Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale would be shot to death, is currently in police custody.

The bishop was arrested this morning by the Ghana Police Service (GPS) and taken to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID Headquarters)  of the service assisting in investigation.

Bishop Akwasi, also known as Jesus Ahoefo, in a video sighted by angelonline.com.gh, predicted that one Charles famous in the dancehall category of the music industry would be shot and killed on Monday, October 18.

The bishop noted that the tragic incident would happen in a similar fashion as in the case of renowned reggae artiste Lucky Dube, who was murdered on October 18, 2007.

Angelonline.com.gh is also learning that the Criminal Investigation Department has officially invited the Shatta Wale for questioning regarding his fake gun attack on Monday night.

Shatta Wale caused a stir on social media after he used the phones of his team members to post that he  is receiving treatment after an attack by unknown gun men.

Some members of the public cast doubt on his alleged attack while others expressed fear and sympathy for the dancehall artiste.
