Sensational Ghanaian Hilife musician, Kwabena Kwabena, has revealed that his three-year break from music was not due to depression.
Known in real life as George Kwabena Adu, the musician revealed on ‘Anopa Bofo’ show on Angel FM on Friday, November 19, 2021, that he took the break to enable him to reflect on life.
When the host, Kofi Adoma, asked him whether his break was due to depression, the musician replied that “depression is too a strong word to use, I needed a break but I was not depressed.”
He added that, his break in music was part of his vision for music because he has a lot to do with music.
The break, he believes, has made him learn a lot of lessons in life which includes not trusting people too much.
Regarding his stance on the LGBTQI, he emphatically told host Kofi Adoma Wawani that “for the record I am not a gay”.
Rumours have been going around that the musician is a gay due to his recent lifestyle. He is mostly seen with painted nails and toes with earrings, all of which have made many assume the musician is a homosexual.
Kwabena Kwabena said despite his numerous challenges in marriage leading to his divorce he will remarry at the right time.
He added that, people are not to be trusted in life and that has caused him a lot in his relationship with others.
The musician has released a single titled ‘Konkonsa’ featuring Shatta Wale. The song tells the struggles he has faced as a musician.
