The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that it has received financial clearance for the payment of salaries of the remaining 6,249 teachers who were recruited in 2024.
According to a statement signed by the head of Public Relations at GES, Daniel Fenyi, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, the financial clearance allows the service to complete all necessary processes to ensure the staff receive their salaries.
The clearance is valid until December 31, 2025, with GES management committing to placing all staff on the mechanized payroll in time for November 2025 payments.
GES management expressed gratitude to all staff for their dedication and reaffirmed their commitment to facilitating timely and accurate salary payments.
