Leader of Pneuma Testimony Chapel International, Moses Arthur, popularly known as Agya Moses, has stated that prophecy does not fail, insisting that prophets should not be pressured to apologise when their prophecies do not manifest as expected.
His comments come in the wake of a widely discussed prophecy by Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, leader of Spirit Life Revival Ministries, who had predicted that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would emerge as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Following the outcome, Prophet Bernard issued a public apology.
Reacting to the development while speaking on Angel Drive on Angel FM, Agya Moses questioned the need for such an apology, challenging Prophet Bernard directly.
“Why should you apologise? Are you called by man or are you called by God?” he asked.
According to Agya Moses, prophets are merely messengers and should not be held responsible for how events eventually unfold.
“You are a messenger, you are just a deliverer, but the process the person will pass through does not concern you,” he said.
He further criticised what he described as hypocrisy within prophetic circles, alleging that some prophets judge the authenticity of others based on personal closeness rather than spiritual calling.
“It is like we are hypocrites in the job we are doing. If you are close to me, you are genuine, but if you are not close to me, then you are fake,” he stated.
Agya Moses concluded by stressing that if he were in Prophet Bernard’s position, he would not have apologised, maintaining that no human being can fully speak for God.
